Fair question — most cheap mics earn that reputation. This won't out-record a $300 studio rig, and we won't pretend it does. What it fixes is the specific thing wrecking your audio now: your phone catching your voice from three feet away instead of close and clean. That's the job, and it does it.
Will it work with my phone?
This is the USB-C version — works straight away on newer Android phones and iPhone 15 or newer. iPhone 14 and older (Lightning port) won't plug in directly.
Do I need to charge it or install anything?
No app, no account, no pairing. Plug the receiver into your phone, clip the mic on, record.
What if I don't like it?
